PhysioFlow® can be used preoperatively to assess the hemodynamic status of elderly patients who are scheduled for orthopedic surgery. Fluid management can be optimized during surgery using the parameters reported by PhysioFlow®, which often results in length of stay (LOS) reductions.
The cardiac output and systemic vascular resistance can be evaluated and managed for high risk OB patients during C-Section procedures. A number of well-known centers now use PhysioFlow® to optimize fluid management and medications during this hemodynamically volatile procedure.
Postoperative management can be facilitated using noninvasive hemodynamic parameters, which allows for the early removal of invasive lines, thereby reducing the risk of infection.
